Robe moving lights were at the hub of the action for a recent European tour of "The Sisters", a show featuring American Gospel singer Theresa Thomason and others, which was lit by leading Italian LD, Massimo Tomasino.

Tomasino used 16 Robe ColorSpot 575E ATs which were hung on overhead trusses and also positioned on the stage floor, collectively used to produce powerful and dynamic beam patterns and back lighting.

He utilised many of the features and effects offered by the Robe's including subtleties like counter-rotating gobos combined with the prism. One of the many reasons he likes using Robe is the many creative options they offer.

The lighting equipment for the tour was supplied by Salerno-based LP Service srl.

He has used Robe fixtures on many previous occasions, and says, "They are highly professional products and I am absolutely amazed by the quality and mechanical reliability".

He particularly likes the ColorSpot 700 and 1200E ATs, and will be using Robe DigitalSpot 5000 DTs on an upcoming tour with Ivana Spagna.

Adding Nuance to Hikaru Utada Science Fiction Tour Design

Creative studio FragmentNine (F9) led by Jeremy Lechterman was asked by creative director / production designer Jason Ardizzone-West of JAW Studio to collaborate on the lighting elements of an impressive production design for J-pop singer/songwriter and superstar Hikaru Utada’s 2024 tour, as the artist returned to live performance after a six-year hiatus for an extensive tour of Japan and Asia, supporting a new album project, Science Fiction.

Floridian hard rockers Creed reunited and hit the road for their first tour in 11 years, creating a maelstrom of energy and momentum so successful that it propelled their music back into the Billboard charts, together with this year’s new “Summer of 99”, and “Are You Ready?” tours, which were among the fastest selling rock shows in the USA.

Über 500 Robe Moving Lights beim Lollapalooza 2024

Über 500 Robe Moving Lights wurden von drei führenden deutschen Verleihern und technischen Produktionsfirmen für die vier Hauptbühnen des 2024 Lollapalooza Berlin Festivals eingesetzt, das von Live Nation organisiert wurde und zwei Tage lang im Olympiastadion stattgefunden hat. Damit wurde einmal mehr bewiesen, dass Robe eine leistungsstarke, zuverlässige und wetterfeste Wahl für Outdoor-Events ist, die eine hochwertige Produktionsbeleuchtung benötigen.
