Johannesburg, South Africa based MJ Event Gear supplied full technical - including Robe's new ROBIN 300 Wash and Spot moving lights - for a recent corporate event at Johannesburg's Montecasino venue, featuring a live set by leading SA rock band, Prime Circle.
The event's lighting designer, Johnny Scholtz, chose the 8 x ROBIN 300 Washes and 8 x ROBIN 300 Spots for their small size and high output and because they fitted perfectly into the stage space.
The units were rigged around a 10 metre wide by 8 metre deep ground support system that was installed for the event, and delivered a fabulous range of colour and beam effect for Prime Circle's set.
They were also used as an integral part of the event's general lighting system, operated by Scholtz on a WholeHog II console.
